Famous Designs of Gold Bars

Each of our gold bars has a classic rectangular shape with refined engravings and markings that highlight its high quality. The mentioned weights are available in various designs. Here is a brief overview of the designs featured on the obverse and reverse sides of our available gold bullion bars:

• Royal Canadian Mint

The Royal Canadian Mint, renowned for its high-quality products and innovative designs, represents the limited edition 1 oz Gold Bar, which is 50 mm long, 28 mm wide, and 1.5 mm thick. 

The obverse side of the bar features a circular design with the words “Royal CANADIAN MINT” inscribed in both English and French language around the RCM trademark symbol. Below the circular design, “1oz .9999 FINE GOLD OR PUR” is displayed in capital letters. Following this, a certified serial number is mentioned for authenticity verification purposes. 

The reverse side of the gold bullion ingots has the RCM trademark logo. This design includes modern security features, such as a uniform line pattern on the front and backside. 

• Credit Suisse

“Credit Suisse” is engraved on the top front side of the 1oz gold bar, signifying the prestigious origin of the gold bar. At the bottom, the bar’s weight (1oz), purity (FINE GOLD 999,9), and unique serial number (572684) are featured. Between purity and serial number, “CHI Essayeur Fondeur,” the manufacturer of the gold bar, is printed in a rectangular box. You can see the repetition of the Credit Suisse logo, which reinforces the bar’s origin and credibility, displayed on the opposite side of the 1 Troy Ounce gold bar.

• Rand Refinery

The must-have 1 troy-ounce gold bullion ingots bar for any investment portfolio, which is minted by one of the world’s largest single-site integrated precious metals refining and smelting complex, Rand Refinery. The back of the bar features the scientific name of a stunning creature, an African elephant, “LOXODONTA,” and emblazoned with a family of African elephants. These creatures portray a horizontal pattern of a baby elephant’s trunk holding onto its parent’s tail as they walk, with another elephant in the background. This pattern is repeated four times. The design symbolizes the strength, wisdom, and rare value of these majestic creatures. 

The front side of a Rand Refinery gold bar features the company’s logo at the top and information about the weight and purity of the bar. “RAND REFINERY,” “Au,” “999.9,” “1oz,” and “FINE GOLD” are crafted in one box. At the bottom of the bar, there is a serial number that starts with two letters RR, which stands for Rand Refinery, and six numbers. 

• PAMP Suisse

One of the best precious metal refineries in the world, Pamp Suisse is renowned for its 1 oz New Style Gold Bar. At the front side of the bar, PAMP. Suisse is written in capital letters, followed by the bar’s weight( 1 Ounce), metal type(FINE GOLD), and purity (999.9). Below that, the founder’s name, Essayeur, is inscribed in French. The reverse side showcases the refinery name and logo along with the unique serial number.

• Valcambi

CanAm Bullion presents its vast collection of Valcambi Gold CombiBar available in different sizes, including 1 oz, 1 gram, 5 gram, 10 gram, 20 gram, and 20 gram (20 x 1 g). Each bar features a similar design from the front and back. 

The front design of the bar shows the renowned Valcambi logo which signifies its origin from this esteemed Swiss refinery. The right side signifies the purity “999.9” and the weight of the respected bar and the assayer’s name and signature in a box is inscribed. 

The opposite side of each Valcambi Gold Bar features a simple design, showcasing the full name of the refinery, “Valcambi Suisse,” which is elegantly engraved on the shiny finish background from the bottom right corner to the top right corner. However, in a 1oz gold bar, the refinery name is crafted on the opposite side from the bottom left corner to the top left corner. 

• 20 gram (20 x 1 g) Gold CombiBar | Valcambi

This combi bar features 20 pieces, each weighing 1 gram, that are securely attached to each other. Each piece can be easily separated from each other while maintaining the overall purity of the gold content. This modular design enables investors to sell or trade smaller portions of the gold bar without needing to sell the entire 20-gram unit. The back and front side designs are similar to other Valcambi gold bars. 

What to Expect in Gold Bullion Bars

On the top of the pack, there is a refinery’s logo, and the phrase “Rand Secure” is printed at the bottom of the card. Most gold bars also have a unique serial number engraved on them. If the bar has a serial number, the assay card will also show that number on the surface of the bar.
