Each note in the 5 Piece Utah Goldback Note Set displays a unique image based on a different cardinal virtue. For example, the 1 Utah Goldback showcases the female personification of Prudentia. This Latin word translates to prudence and is associated with wisdom and insight. This depiction shows a woman in indigenous clothes perched on a tree base with a wolf howling next to her.
The reverse field of each note in the 5 Piece Goldback Gold Note Set features a mirrored image of the obverse. These gold notes are so thin that any imagery on the reverse would alter the obverse design.
Each note in the 5 Piece Utah Goldback Gold Note Set will arrive in a currency sleeve to preserve the condition of each note. This 5-piece set contains just over 1/11th Troy oz of actual gold content. This set also features all 5 denominations in the Utah Series from the 1 Goldback to the 50 Goldback.
These Utah Goldback Gold Notes were inspired by the passage of the Utah Legal Tender Act in 2011. This act allowed for the adoption of gold and silver as legal tender in the state of Utah. The Goldback was so popular that other collections were created for Nevada, New Hampshire, and Wyoming.
