Description

Goldbacks are privately issued notes used as a voluntary local currency, created by sealing a thin layer of 24-karat gold between resilient sheets of polyester film. Each piece showcases detailed artwork and contains a carefully measured fractional amount of real gold, making Goldbacks one of the few forms of gold currency intended for everyday spending today. The series first appeared in Utah and has since expanded into other states, combining the historic appeal of precious metals with a practical exchange format. The latest release introduces the Idaho Goldback, adding another denomination and continuing the tradition of state-inspired designs on each note. Now, 1 Idaho Goldback Gold Notes are available online at our site.

In the design of the 1 Idaho Goldback Gold Note, you will find a pioneer woman who symbolizes the spirit of Fides. She is shown taking a trail break with her young son as the family wagon stops near the City of Rocks. Tucked into the rugged high desert of south-central Idaho near the small town of Almo, the City of Rocks National Reserve is a stunning geological landscape of ancient granite spires, domes, and monoliths that rise dramatically from the sagebrush plain. Travelers along the California Trail in the mid-nineteenth century paused here to carve their names in axle grease on the rocks. These inscriptions remain faintly visible today, making the City of Rocks both a geological marvel and a tangible archive of American westward migration.

Fides was the ancient Roman goddess of good faith, trust, and fidelity, considered so essential to the functioning of Roman society that she was among the earliest deities to receive formal state worship. Personified as a dignified woman clothed in white, the color of purity and sincerity, she was often depicted extending her right hand in a gesture of pledge and goodwill, or holding an olive branch and ears of grain as symbols of peaceful agreement.

Where is my order sent from?

Depending on your purchase, your order will be sent directly from our warehouse or directly from the mint.

How do I know when my order has been sent?

You’ll receive an email with details, including a tracking link, when we send your order. You can also log into your account to view the order status.

How long will it take for my products to arrive?

Once we receive payment, you’ll be sent an email receipt stating it has been paid for, and your products will be sent out within 1-2 business days. Most payments will have a holding period depending on the payment form. For example, if you pay via check, the holding period for payment clearance can take up to 5 business days. Once your product is shipped, you can expect delivery within 1-3 business days, on average, across the US or Canada. This varies depending on the carrier, time of the year (Christmas post is often slower, for example) and other factors.

Do I need to sign for my package?

If your order is valued at under $1,000, you won’t need to sign for it unless you have chosen this option at checkout. More valuable items will need a signature. If you are not home to accept the delivery, you will receive a notification from the shipping company to make other arrangements.

Does insurance cover my purchase during shipment?

Yes! All packages sent by CanAm Bullion are fully insured so if anything happens enroute to your address, it will be covered provided the Terms and Conditions are met. We will investigate and file a claim if the package is lost or stolen.

What do I do if my package has been tampered with?

Shipping insurance ends the moment you sign for your package, so we recommend you refuse any delivery that looks to have been tampered with. If you refuse the package, it will be sent back to CanAm, and we will follow up. Call our customer service team within 48 hours if your product is damaged.

What happens if my order goes missing during shipment?

All packages that CanAm Bullion sends out are insured, provided they meet certain conditions. If your order gets lost in transit (3 days UPS, 7 days USPS), you need to contact us, and we will start a claim process with the shipping company. The claims process can take 30 days or more. If your package arrives after we start the claims process, you must let us know right away.

What happens if my order is broken during shipment?

CanAm sends all our bullion products in high quality packaging, so breakages are highly unlikely. However, should this occur, contact our team within 48 hours of delivery, and we will start the claims process with the shipping company.

What happens if my order never arrived, but the courier says it was delivered?

Packages that have been dispatched to the correct address and have been delivered will not be eligible for a refund or insurance claim from CanAm Bullion. You assume full risk and liability for the shipment once it has been delivered (either by signing for it or by us leaving it at the specified delivery address). CanAm Bullion MUST be notified of any shipment issues within two calendar days of recorded delivery.

Do you offer shipment worldwide?

We currently offer shipment across Canada and the US. Stay tuned for further destinations coming soon.

Do you ship to US territories?

No. We don’t send packages to US territories.

Do you ship to PO Boxes and UPS Stores?

Yes. We can send items to a P.O. Box. However, keep in mind the insurance coverage ends as soon as the package is marked as delivered. We can also ship to UPS Stores, different mail and packing stores, freight forwarders, and more, however, shipping insurance does not cover items sent here.

How do I choose the best shipping method?

You will be given a few options for shipping, including standard delivery and express delivery (for a small fee). You’ll see these options on checkout, so please choose the option that best suits you.
